I feel like if for 50 whole chapters the only real drama is the same miscommunication over and over and over and doubling down on it, that's just lazy after a certain point. it becomes so predictable, ofc the author wants to drag this out so whenever there's a scene with honesty involved boom you're hit with the misunderstanding all over again, it's fun at the first time, fun at the second time, gets tiring after the third time.
