honestly, I’m really surprised that anyone could call the second half of this novel a redemption arc. I am someone who loves toxic manhwas but this goes beyond. There’s just no real fluffy moments up until the end of the novel literally, we only see the male lead give any sort of real affection in the side chapters, and at that, it’s like the last two side chapters. It’s not that this was a bad novel by any means it was just kind of sad. Of all the toxic comics that I’ve read this one was by far the least satisfying. The end really plays out like an abusive relationship. There’s no real redemption and the main character ends up just becoming a sex doll for the male lead. They keep banging every single chapter even when it’s just unnecessary. I love misunderstandings and miscommunication, but I don’t think they end up communicating at all throughout the novel like, not even once. This was interesting, but it also weighed heavily on my mind. The male lead is a true Yandere. But it’s not satisfying in any way.
