Nah I also think it’s cause since MC was sent back to his home place everyone basically sees it as like he was abandoned and they ain’t want him so like it’s shameful and maybe the deal was broken off. So now they tryna get it back with the assumption that ML didn’t want MC. But us the audience knows wat actually went on they don’t tho not even MC know cause he too thought he was abandoned
If the ML abandoned him, he would go straight to the palace when he visited the kingdom instead of going to the MC’s home. That much is very obvious but they choose not to see it.
