This entire thing is based on how I interpreted the timeline as suah presenting as an alpha, juhyeok presenting as an omega, juhyeok finding out it is extremely likely he presented as an omega because of heavy exposure to alpha pheromones, and then juhyeok pulling away from suha.
This would mean he must have known about suhas secondary gender in order to blame suhas pheromones, which makes it entirely possible the scene where suha is feeling insecure about being an alpha and juhyeok still giving him the bigger half of the ice cream occurred at a time where juhyeok already knew suha was an alpha.
He was trying to reassure suha it was okay, because he still thought he himself would be an alpha and their dynamic could pretty much remain the same, only to later realize their dynamic had already changed because suah had been doubting his abilities and nonconsensually scenting him the whole time.

I don’t feel bad for suah. Everyone is talking about it like suahs love is “real” and juhyeok is just taking his secondary gender inferiority complex out on him without justification, but I don’t think this is the case.
No, suah could not control the fact that he was an alpha. However, after seeing how strongly juhyeok reacted to presenting as an omega (understandably, because he was extremely young, comes from a long line of alphas and it shattered his life plans + omegas get the complete short end of the stick in society by being regularly underestimated and assaulted) his best course of action would have been waiting for the initial shock and anger to pass and continuing to be a supportive friend (something like “I still like and respect you for who you are, I don’t want this to break us apart”).
Instead, SUAH is the one who lets juhyeoks secondary gender completely change how he views him, as ch 4 demonstrates he completely doesn’t respect juhyeoks ability to fend for himself (despite being the one to fight off bullies for years before presenting) and instead selfishly scented him all throughout middle school to “protect” him. This is obviously more about staking his claim based on his obsessive behavior, and we can see this is the actual breaking point in their relationship rather than the throwing of the bouquet.
Even if you want to make the argument that suah was young and didn’t know that the continued scenting would totally destabilize juhyeoks pheromones and leave him COMPLETELY DEPENDENT on suah for the REST OF THEIR LIVES, you can’t say the same for when suah scents juhyeok AGAIN in university after being repeatedly asked not to, all with the same defense of “I don’t like you being near those alpha judokas”.
Like none of it is real or worth getting so worked up over but I find it strange that there is such a strong push to try and paint suah as some sort of victim, when it is his direct, conscious, and repeated actions that have left juhyeok unable to control his pheromones and thus way more vulnerable to being assaulted. Even when he is “rescuing” juhyeok, it is only out of jealousy rather than genuine concern. I can understand being heartbroken and emotional at a young age, but he handled it in such a manner that demonstrates he has always been fixated on the idea that juhyeok belongs to him, and juhyeok presenting as an omega only exacerbated that unhealthy obsession. He knows he’s being used to solve a problem he CREATED and he does it willingly, I really can’t bring myself to feel bad at all.
