I'm not an expert but afaik in Korean (the language that Passion is written in, mind you though that Iltae talk to each other in English) pronouns are not usually specified, so you rely on tone of voice and context clues to basically get the gist. So sometimes translators can make mistakes on that. I would def say that Tay first said "You like me" catching Ilay off guard and then told him "I like you" which got him going again. It just doesn't make sense for Ilay to be like "wth man" when Tay tells him that he likes him and then start blushing just from Tay repeating it. I don't actually know what exactly was being said in the kr version though. There have also been instances of the official translator randomly repeating speech (maybe they were out of it??) so it could also be that.

Which translation for chapter 118 is most accurate to the original?? The official or the fan chapter? (im specifically talking about when ilay asking Taeui to say he likes him and taeui’s response to that). I feel like they’re almost two drastically different interpretations of the scene ??? I’m aware the official is supposed to be more credible but the fan translation kinda makes more sense imo…
