I'm reading the novel currently and yes it goes WAY deeper with the emotions and there's even skipped dialogue and scenes like Mc masturbating in the shower after he talked with the director about being offered employment at Phantom.
There's so much more nuance to the characters and details about their life that I get can't be all included in an adaptation like this.
It's really fun to read the novel along with the Manhwa so pls do give it a try :)

Oh you can just tell the story telling is gonna be fucking peak and the artwork is just scrumptious. I’m getting older obsessed green flag with ML down the road. I fear I may just need to read the novel to capture the true emotions and intent behind every action, the novel likely goes much more in depth with the characters I bet.
