the first part of this manhwa was extremely promising, confronting abuse and hypersexuality in an interesting and refreshing way with a love interest being kind is actually something i was enjoying. and then it felt like a huge fall off as soon as the timeskip happened. it feels extremely edgy way too quickly and the pacing became odd and hurtful towards the story it was trying to tell. all throughout the second part everything feels extremely off, its just extreme after extreme after extreme and as much as these "extremes" could be told well it feels like torture porn rather than accomplishing anything for the story. im extremely disappointed since i was such a big fan of the first part but this genuinely feels so awful now. not to mention the artstyle shift which makes jiho look so... small? childlike? its odd.
