ehh no the author didn’t ruin anything. the second that taegu was introduced we knew he liked youngwoon. there was no retcon or anything. the author is portraying what would usually be a unbalanced and toxic dynamic as actually unbalanced and toxic
It was always hinted from the beginning, the uncs hand was in season 1 cover from the start..it’s really messed up.
yup. the only way this would’ve been remotely okay is if they met and dated in this current time where yeongwoon is well into his twenties, not where they basically lived together when yeongwoon was in middle school (or high school? not sure which, either way he’s a minor). this was always a dynamic where taegu could’ve easily taken advantage of yeongwoon. he’s literally in a gang. like yes he was portrayed as a nice character before this, but when u really start thinking abt this, these turn of events are not shocking whatsoever
will never understand why this author chose to ruin a completely fine platonic relationship/yeongwoon’s only support system/ the only person didn’t wanna rape him, into this fucked pedophilic dynamic. all for what!!! this isn’t even good conflict/tension, what does this add to the story like genuinely
