I was trying to get past the first chapter and thinking that they hopefully meant that they were distant cousins to at least the fifth degree, but then they show me short bit at the end of chapter 1 with the seme saying “your aunt and uncle’s son” and then it hits me again when they show the family tree in chapter 2 T-T And then that’s when I decided that I just can’t continue with their defined first cousin relationship lol Just thinking about my cousins in that way grossed me the fck out XD Additionally, the title of this is literally osananajimi aka childhood friend and so i was thinking this was gonna be a cute childhood friends to lovers kind of story, but then they’re actually cousins, like the author could have just continued with the childhood friend trope and it would have been dope.
