i get it like it's one thing to find his character design hot or wtv, but to comment about how much u want him to fuck u right after the chapter ends with him sexually assaulting yw, and the whole chapter just him being predatory as fuck........ like just say u don't gaf alot the mc and move
after latest chapter, i’m very concerned that people are still defending or lusting after the perpetrator, while it is very unfortunate that SA is very commonly used in bl, it readers def should not be desensitized with SA.
And yes it is fiction, but they do say fiction is just a reflection reality, so readers def should not be comfortable reading SA, you can still enjoy the work while being uncomfortable with some aspect of it, thats the point of the story i think

basically one of the characters in backlight is a pedo and so many people are just talking about how attractive he is.. and it’s like.. you’ve just read about this guy being a pedophile and sexually assaulting the guy he watched grow up + he jumped on mc when mc was trying to kill himself.. and people are just like ‘oh my god fuck me I love him etc etc I don’t care he’s a pedo etc’ and it js piss me off lowk

Nvm i skimmed.haven’t continued reading it cos i was marinating. Disappointed to know what happened. I liked the hyung from the earlier chapters. Thought hed be used as a second lead now that theyre adults and bd used as a driving force to help the leads confront their feelings. Cliche but okay plot. Was not expecting the backstory. Absolutely wtf. Liking the person now that theyre adults despite seeing them grow from kid to adult is one thing (this i can honestly forgive dont judge me i can explain) but liking them from a kid to grown up is wth. AND TO ACT ON IT?! Just why.
