Since the beginning I've seen Yigon as a result of grooming from his brother. His brother has conditioned him to fear, obey and crave his relationship with his brother. He is a bright person but has never gotten out of his brother's shadow.
Frankly I've wanted him to grow out of it with the help of Taekang but author has other plans. Currently it's a mess, and tbh there is no progress if we ignore Taekang's recent development and this is almost 60 chapters in. This was good plot and author hasn't made the most of it imho.
I rooted most for Yigon but he is the character that has disappointed me the most. I didn't expect him to do a full 180 but a little progress would have been nice. The abuse, neglect and grooming Yigon has been subjected to has not even been addressed. Yigon himself hasn't acknowledged his situation, which means he hasn't even taken his first step to betterment. The author is just trying to milk it as much as possible. Smh.
