Honestly a good fluff read, doesn’t delve into any of the angst that comes with immortality stuff. Just finished my reread of this since initially coming across it years ago.
Kinda sad how fast Bin and Gok’s story got shoved aside to focus more on their son’s story. I know it was more important to the plot and the whole world building of their species (which was pretty cool and interesting in of itself), but character wise, I couldn’t get into them. Also I missed seeing a lot of the characters from season 1 like Gok’s parents and sisters, his childhood friend (sorry forgot his name), and jinju (OUR FUJOSHI QUEEN). I know they weren’t really shown because they would’ve been middle aged/older and it’s pretty clear that the author didn’t want to depict or allude to people getting old and dying while all the vampires stayed young.
Also I love seeing Bin be such a simp for Gok and I wanted to see more of it.
And Kakia and Ino’s story could have been fleshed out more. I know Ino was such a cocky and standoff ish man in S1 and I love seeing a good story of how they become the cutest bottoms. Wanted to see that sooooooo bad.
Anyways that’s all. Happy read :) honestly always amazed at how this author comes out with so many works so fast and generally all of them are so good. Bless!
