I think I understand why he didn’t shoot him and instead tried to run away. Zhenya has (plot) armor. He’s dodged bullets before so this scenario would be no exception. I bet Zhenya was waiting for Taekjoo to strike honestly. Taekjoo needs to play the long run and get his guard down. It was kind of working when he was watching him play the “Viola” and buttering him up with compliments about his huntsman skills. So while running away from an expert marsksman wasn’t the best choice, shooting would’ve had worse consequences
