the langeres are such a pacifist though, the story wouldn't work otherwise. war.... country DESTROYED. A naive leader of a revolution (like bro its mentioned that you are the last of the royals = siblings ded, citizens).... He's romancing a war general.... but the general is not patriotic so that's why this could work hahah. but well I'm just beating a dead horse at this point lol.
I did wonder about one thing. Why does only perserus have smyrna? Blessed by the gods, and an oracle for the next smyrna is one thing, but for what? It doesn't seem like the perserus clan is religious (being messiah). They are blessed simply to continue their bloodline??? That's it? Are they blessed so that they can protect odea??? (ONE country?? God seems to be a bit biased here) idk its kinda... funny?
Lastly, what a smooth sailing story, where the characters TALK FIRST. LIKE I LOVE THEM FOR THAT. The baby is cute(though only shown at the end lolll).
