This might be a weird and dumb question to ask but I've been curious. In Omegaverse, are male omegas like chickens or birds? You know like, their intestines and uterus are separated, and do they have some sort of cloaca?

i guess it depends on which interpretation the authors use? because i’ve seen multiple in the most popular interpretations, male omegas are usually written with a uterus or uterine pouch that is separate from the digestive tract, so there’s no cloaca or shared opening the way birds have & the reproductive structure is usually treated as an additional internal organ that connects in a way that doesn’t need to interact with the intestines. there’s also some versions where the uterus is temporary or hormonally activated which only develops or become functional during heats so..yeah

It definitely varies from author to author on how m!omegas are treated, but the way I've always thought of it is male omegas could be a sort of functional intersex phenotype — with male genitalia externally, but a specialized internal reproductive tract for gestation that only opens in heat.

Pregnancy would be high-risk and likely require C-sections rather than natural birth. Their bodies could have adapted hormone cycles to regulate the process safely, like temporary openings, uterine lining reabsorption outside of pregnancy, and controlled receptivity.

It’s a way to make it biologically plausible while still keeping the ABO mechanics intact.
