Ok then I guess Ethan will be reincarnated some day? I mean, it's obviously left open, but.... that's what I thought that it meant, for sure (though I had kinda thought the ML was already the reincarnation of at least half of his soul, or something... in case of which that would have to mean that "Ethan", the other remaining half, would get to be reborn, too). If a human like the FL was able to be reincarnated (and even able to turn back time, once) then who's to say that god couldn't pull it off. Anyway, great story, definitely 100% recommended to you all.
