mc is clearly OP and is insane in his field given the shit he’s getting into and coming out arguably unscathed given EVERYTHING (like detached retinas is like, a severe injury but by this point dude should be swiss cheese), but i love how lowkey he feels. he doesnt feel super imposing or overtly powerful, and more than once i felt somewhat critical as i compared his actions to other insane, batshit crazy OP mcs (ie: also the other Mr. Kim who also has a daughter he hid his secret gov assassin identity from while she wallowed in systemic oppression and felt powerless against it). but i feel like that makes this protag way more realistic in a way, and also makes me more nervous for him bc he rlly does feel like he could get one upped by a mid-agent w solid enough aim. the stakes feel higher bc mc feels more aligned w the general rules of reality
