Honestly I don’t like dark romance and I didn’t rlly ship the two lead characters (I think it would’ve been better if they had forgiven each other and went their separate ways at the end) BUT THIS IS A GOOD PSYCHOLOGICAL READ! It has complex characters and their motivations are really fun to study. Unlike other manwhas, each character feels real—they have their own backstories, motivations, ideals, etc. Even the characters who do bad things aren’t evil for evils sake. The writing is very good, and I think this is the first manwha I’ve read where I actually care more about the non-romantic plot line going on than the actual romance. A really good and realistic depiction of war and politics.
