Why was there no warning that this is about war/post-war? This is a bit too realistic to my liking, plus war is boring without the fantasy. This isn't a horrible read, just that both characters are very frustrating and dragging on about their situation that makes it a bit boring to read. Plus, I don't like how the ML keep playing the "you deserve better/you're too good for me" card.
