She's still learning to live in the world as a sane person, herself. She can analyze people, the atmosphere but her calculations only end on how crazy to act so people don't suspect her, she hasn't been allowed to act like a normal person and understand the results of her actions. He isn't controlling, he is just over worrying, but even his mom has already interfered and told him to let her act on her decisions, specially ones she's thought hard about. This is also part of his character and their relationship development. Ch 79 is a great indicator of this.
