God, the lore in this is DELICIOUS, the sea under the desert, the sand whales the gemstones, that scene was SO beautiful. I love how this author does their world building, AND how they present their exposition bits, it's really really tasteful, incredible work, never feels like infodump and always fit well with the narrative. Of course, the concepts itself are always topnotch, love it!
