she's been severely abused. i don't think she'll stay like this for long.
I don't know about that character development cause i couldn't keep reading it
It just pisses me off that he gets to have his way with her and threaten her like that, while she's only trying to save his ass
and she doesn't even react !
they go into why she is like this a bit. she's been severely emotionally abused by her mother. she can't even look herself in the eye so she's unable to stand up to him mostly. but there's a lot more to why he's behaving the way he's behaving and why she's behaving the way she's behaving. it isn't amazing or anything but i only commented in case you wanted to give it another chance! no worries if you don't!
