It's not really like that at all. None of the men (besides Anakin) truerly loved or was interested in Eris. They saw either their weeknesses in her, or treated her as a copying mechanism. The priest projected his trauma of dead mother on her since the new Eris had the same tendencies, the knight projected his own weaknesses and problems onto her since he saw himself in her desperate need to die, and the crown prince had always complicated feelings towards her, but more of an obsession since he took her love for granted no matter how much he dissrespected her. They not even once seen her as a real human.Same goes to Helena. None of the men treated them as a real human beings. Thats the whole point of the story.

i looooved this story BUT the way all three men fell for her despite being obsessed with Helena before and having like 2-3 interactions with "Eris", MIND YOU they were all bad interactions was.... well kinda dumb. I get why for the plot but it felt stupid to read it was like
Them: I hate you
Eris: I hate you too
Them: Omg wait you hate me thats so hot lets fuck even tho youre my sister
