Personally, i think the romance part was just the perfect cherry on top. Idk how to explain it tho, it's like when you think you cook something good, everything is perfect, ingredients were top noch but when you taste it something is missing. It's like a bay leaf, when it's there you dk why it's necessary to have but when it's missing, you know it's not there.
