I'm not sure, just speculating. What if someone from his team is the reason why that happened to him? That's why they had no choice but to disband? And how that red haired hyung who was likely their leader before thought he wasn't able to protect him before?
I don't want to assume the worst but what if MC got graped? From ML's statement and question about how MC is natural when it comes to skinship. And about the drug causing euphoria, specially when it's in intense brightness, that might also be the reason why he got an epileptic symptoms. And also that short snippet about the drug, him drinking it, then a picture of him laying down, dazed and seems like out of it with liquid-like substance on his face.
