It’s an extra dig cause while tanuki (raccoon dogs) are revered and in some cases seen as something akin to a god, a raccoon is treated as a trash burglar who is a pest to the earth. I personally love raccoons and tanukis equally because both are fluffy and wild animals are cute but the connotations couldn’t be more opposite if you tried! Even the weirdest animal known to man (echidna) has better PR than a raccoon!
Please end him shinobu! That f*cking piece of shit! A human body has 7 trillion nerves and he gets on every single on of them! From what shinobu said, he's not a tanuki but a raccoon. I thought they were the same things but apparently they're a whole different species. Those black and white stripes belong to the raccoons from north America while japanese tanukis (raccoon dogs) have solid bushy tail. They are revered as a sign of good luck and prosperity. Anyway, idk what inferiority complex that guy has, he better be gone istg. His actions clearly show he wants to be treated as a higher ranked being than shinobu.
