for real the story was never about him , it was always about the romance of tae ha and na hae soo and how they will heal together throught their obstacle , na hae soo with her trauma and ex husband trauma and tae ha with his family problem . Even author said it herself on naver. It's obvious that mishit is just a part of fl'arc stroy not the main thing lmao
I get that the author said the focus is Tae-ha and Na Hae-soo’s healing romance, but that doesn’t really address the criticism. Even if the ex-husband and the mystery aren’t the main point, they were clearly set up as meaningful narrative threads. When those threads stall or go nowhere for dozens of chapters, it naturally feels like filler. Intent doesn’t automatically equal good pacing or payoff.
The issue isn’t that the arc has no purpose it’s that we’re 83 chapters in and almost everything is still being framed as “setup.” When foreshadowing, mysteries, and emotional beats keep stacking without concrete reveals or shifts in dynamics, it starts to feel like stalling rather than progression. At some point, “this will lead to something” needs to actually lead to something
i can agree that the pacing need some work from the author. As for the author about the revenge ex arc i think she reserve that atfer na hae soo will be changed throught all the drama with beom family and when will be be officially a madam beom, it's the best outcome for mincheol to see her changed with a new personnality and totally indifferent to him.

Tbh honest this manhwa begun with alot of potential, then started to lost it plot as it goes on. Where is the ex husband? What is the mystery between the FL and the ML? Right now everything seems like a filler chapters.
