there’s a lot of negative reviews but i will say this has been a refreshing story. i like the psychological thriller aspect of it and i wished more stories would incorporate it with the “transmigrating trope” because yes, living in a new world should be horrifying. i will say, i love how our mc is the “villainess”, although with her perspective, she’s more of a victim. if we were to think of her from luna’s pov, she is definitely a villainess. this is why i cannot hate luna either. she spent her childhood with the duke and they actually loved each other as proven thru his actions and his letters. after eleven years he tells her he loves another woman? insane. i cannot hate luna because she has not done anything wrong. but i also cannot hate our mc, she is so pitiful and i am genuinely wishing for her happiness. truthfully, the villains are the brothers. very psychotic if i may say. sure you can say their childhood was traumatizing cus their daddy was a whore and a child hater but like…idgaf lmao. they’re both crazy.
you’re telling me one brother is so anxious of being dethroned that he’ll abuse and manipulate an innocent woman to secure his standing? and the other brother is so anxious of being eliminated that he’ll abuse and manipulate an innocent woman to secure his standing? wow they really are brothers omg. the mf is absolute dogshit but i’m not too annoyed because i didn’t expect this to be a romance. he is perfect for a psychological thriller. i don’t need a green flag ml because this story because this story was meant to be toxic.
moving on, i am quite nervous about the black haired magician. idk if you guys have seen the trend, but all the men suck. the emperor sucks. the duke sucks. even that pendragon guy sucks. the only good man was our mc’s father and homie literally died lmao. i will say, i actually quite enjoy this story. if you’re here for the romance, this is not the story for you but if you enjoy a story about politics and plots about twisting dates, read this.
