I know in some sense this story is trying to redeem the mother but no matter what i can not find it in me to like her. and with that last chapter i HATE HER EVEN MORE. so youre telling me EVEN WHEN SHE WAS LOOKING AT HER DAUGHTER ABOUT TO BE BURNED ALIVE ALL SHE COULD DO WAS THINK ABOUT HERSELF?????? wtf man. even that last part where she was realising that her daughter loved her it felt so self centred???? It doesn’t even show that SHE loves her daughter it just shows that she wants to be loved in general. i feel like the author needs to dedicate some more chapters from the mothers point of view and show us that she REALLY is haunted by what she had done in her past life because everytime i see this bitch all sparkly and giving her daughter MORE TRAUMA BTW (assassination attempts, seeing her mom almost die, being brought up in the castle by EVERYONE but the mom, literally, the step dad is spending more time with her than her own mom, the fear of leaving her loved ones at some point) i will lose it.
