I think they did include it, but it wasn't depicted that good. I didn't understand wtf happened with the 2nd shot because Taekjoo says it didn't hit him, but then there's an "explosion-like" effect shown and he's surprised. Then, in the next pannels he's shown on the ground. I was confused af, but after I read your comment now it seems to make sense. I guess that explosion effect was supposed to be the avalanche started by Zhenya's 2nd shot

like i don't get it, why change scenes that are literally novel accurate?? even last chapter was disappointing too cuz the contrabass scene wasn't drawn properly...
okay that's not what happens in novel. taekjoo tries to run again after the first gunshot but on his way he faces an avalanche and gets buried in pile of snow zhenya grabs his waving hand from the snow pile and takes him back to mansion. the scene is kinda funny in novel and i was honestly waiting for it. but they didn't include it this is why, girlies, read the damn novel. trust me you won't regret it
