Nope! He's always been a gentleman. Here's my proof:
1) Dan's fault he got dicked down hard, threatened and coerced for sex for his first time
2) Dan asked for it
3) Jaekyung was never a bad guy. With his immense wealth, he helped a guy out to get his ass with no disturbance in return
4) Dan raped Jaekyung too.
5) Jaekyung's behavior and actions are excused because of his upbringing. If your upbringing was bad, you are excused to do anything
6) Dan's fault for giving a bd gift. A 27 year old man can't read minds nor understand when his sex partner finds it painful to sleep with him
7) Jaekyung had every right to treat Dan like that during and prior to the spray incident. It was Dan's fault he didn't insist on telling JK he was approached by the manager before his match instead of waiting for after
8) He's excused because now that he realised he caught feelings, he's starting to treat Dan better. The past is excused
Dan is not that big of saint and Joo such monster like a lot of you say here.
You didn’t even read the damn story.
It’s not complicated how it starts: there are two characters. One is rich and famous, the other is dirt poor, desperately taking care of his dying grandma and completely broke. The relationship is unequal from the start — which is a fundamental part of the story — and you can’t even be bothered to acknowledge it.
Jaekyung is in a position of superiority in every way: physically (he can beat the shit out of Dan whenever he wants) and in terms of power. From the very beginning, Dan is already in a position of weakness compared to Jaekyung.
And nothing excuses rape. Nothing. We don’t give a fuck about his past or his so-called redemption. What he did was take a poor guy and use him like a fucking sex toy, when the guy is small, miserable, and completely powerless.
And you talk about it like they were equal from the start. Seriously, did you even read the manga, or are you just pretending you can’t read?
Pointing this out doesn’t make Dan innocent, but between the two of them, he’s clearly the one who was abused the most. Jaekyung repeatedly abused him, again and again, while having the option not to do it.
When you talk about Dan’s bad actions, you only bring up moments where Dan is emotionally, socially, and psychologically distressed (especially when he’s an alcoholic and depressed), and you conveniently forget to mention those details. That’s dishonest.
And I’m not doing what you’re doing: no, Dan’s distress does not excuse his bad actions, but it does put things back into perspective. You’re completely disconnected from the story — you’re the one who needs to reread the damn book.

so now that he realizes he likes him he can start treating him like a actual human, oh wow the bars in hell
