My guess is Mr. Kang grew up in a community with a lot of hybrids, so naturally he dated more hybrids than humans and that’s why he was motivated to write the book about the discrimination interspecies relationships face. Either that or he spent a lot of time around hybrids to learn more about them in order to write the book and ended up dating a couple. Last theory is he gained a type after his first love, who happened to be a hybrid, which isn’t that uncommon.
Feels kinda stupid that ML just believed Mr. Kang was a festishizer just because of his dating history though. He has book(s) on hybrid discrimination and was reluctant to get into a relationship with ML despite knowing he was a hybrid. I mean, what happens if he was just a kinky size queen and all his past partners, hybrids and humans, just had large packages?
