He doesn't have to always care, consider, reflection, and take in account how this affects you both. Y'all always loved him more than he loved y'all.
And he didn't love y'all like that until now he just doesn't want to name it that because he knows he already in dip shit with y'all both and once he names his feelings it's gonna be even more hardships for him.
Also just because you love someone doesn't mean they have to love you back.
It's why he considered running away several times, especially now that he then dipped into the sauce with y'all. Y'all even more unhinged especially when y'all took advantage of him first. And still couldn't stay out his damn face.
He struggling to juggle both of y'all emotions. It gonna take time for y'all to reach a place of understanding and facing and moving forward together when support and collaborate as a unity only comes with he's or y'all are in danger.
Also he didn't want to go down this path with y'all until it presented him with an opportunity to do more with his rank. Now he's looking for a way to not do that and tangle y'all up way much more however now that they tasted that lamb severely times that's an absolute dead end to that.
