I understand that the douche bag husband would have never believed anyone to begin with even if they HAD told him, but I don't understand why everything was just kept a secret from him lol. Like everytime someone finally was about to stand up to him and go off on how much of an idiot he is, someone always stopped them as if he wasn't allowed to know the truth
