It wasn’t a “disappeared for no reason” like did we forget that besides him finding out about MC doing something that ML hated (approaching him for a certain benefit), ML was also threatened by his “mom” using a pic of MC? And the reason we get ML’s POV from time to time is to see that whatever this arc is isn’t happening one-sidedly, and he has his own reasons why he cannot be with MC rn. Just how many times we’ve seen ML in the verge of crashing out within this season…
I dont know if you still remember but Mc really did him //dirty// and is literally trying to get him back. As explained, Dohu likes Juheon and is regretting the fact that he used Juheon for sex and for novel. Now that Juheon is back in Seoul, of course he's gonna make everythig right and have him back.

The thing is...I don't even think he truly did him wrong to this level of "hatred" the ML is showing him. All of what he confessed just now was mainly his inner monolog/inner thoughts. When they were together, the MC didn't treat him as badly as he described. I still remember him confessing to the ML, he started writing to understand people because he truly just didn't get other people's views, and the ML very much knew he was in love with him since back then, he figured out the MC does not express his love verbally, but he does with his actions. Even one chapter, the ML said he loves him and the MC didn't say it back, but hinted at it causing the ML to smile because the ML very much knew he just couldn't say it due to his personality.
With all that in mind, if the ML wasn't under so much stress or anguish (whatever was going on with him specifically), I don't even think he would come to this extreme conclusion of out right hating him and never want to him again because he used him. It feels like self-sabotage to me.
Maybe I have to re-read this, and think more like ML because, I would say I have trust issues and I definitely hold grudges when my trust is broken for years and so on, but i'm not seeing how he was done "dirty" to this degree
You might not recall, part of the reason why he left wasn’t only because he found out the man he loved essentially played him, but also because his “mom” (the woman who is actually his aunt) threatened him. He wasn’t behaving the way she wanted and she essentially showed him a photo she had and it looked like Dohu was on it (it was blurry though so I couldn’t attest to that). Him becoming an actor was probably a way for him to properly claim his own independence and I think part of the reason why he went as far as moving away like he did, was because of that threat
iirc, ML hated the fact that MC "used" him forhis own desires. This is also the reason why he hated him but he actually loved love him until now. Im prolly sure he was willing to fix everything with him before but ive seen a comment that MLs aunt threatened him to leave so thus lead them to the present event.
I mean… he broke up with him. He had every right to disappear, lmao. It might be “not that deep” to you, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t deep to him. Hating on the ML for breaking up with someone is wild. Just because you think the reason was dumb doesn’t invalidate how he felt. Someone could break up with someone cause their feet smell and it would be valid, cause that’s their autonomy.
You clearly don't understand Dohu then. He is the type to get very hyper focused towards the things he likes. Remember how he was at the start of the story? He practically stalked Juheon just because he was interested and curious about him. It would honestly be out of character if he gives up on Juheon, especially since this is the first person that he actually likes.
Also, considering Juheon's traumatic experience of being used, betrayed, and abandoned, someone like Dohu is what he actually needs. Someone who is straight like an arrow and would never give him up. They are a match made in heaven.
