The alternate ending is FAR superior than the real one. It’s got way more depth and so much more traumatizing and interesting. Really delves into mc’s and Ricky’s character. Love the odd dynamic they got and the genuine obsession that Ricky has with the mc that he doesn’t want to admit. The plot with the coach in the alternate ending is actually so insanely good as well (and is probably the strongest part of the alternate ending so far)z Every moment with him was slowly building up and it explained more of his character and morals, which helped the audience understand why he chose to do what he did. Aside from all the rape in the alternate ending, this author is so insanely good with creating psychological horror moments that aren’t edgy. The shock value of these moments are the right amount and don’t come out of left because of all of the buildup. I really hope the author drops all this rape stuff and makes a genuine psychological horror series so they get taken more seriously and become better known.
