Well parents deserve some time to themselves + joy has plenty of babysitters
A child needs their parents not babysitters. The parents didn't interact properly with their baby. That's kinda sad. While I agree that parents need to have time for themselves, when you have a child, you have responsibilities. As a parent, you can't go too far away from your baby and for a long period of time, if you do this you can't call yourself a parent. If a child see their parents rarely, it will grow up without creating a bond with them and that creates a lot of problems as a grown up. I hope you understand that when you make a child, you can't be as free as you was before ,and if you can't accept that you shouldn't be a parent .
They’re literally gone for one evening/night. You sound miserable thinking you need to let yourself gone just because you’re a parent. And you know which parents are often those who don’t see their children much when they’re adults? Overbearing parents, the ones who solely existed for their child. No character left.
You sound like your parents didn't love you. It clearly shows that you didn't really read my comment, I was saying that parents need to have some moments for themselves but as parents the most important thing in their life are their children. You can only enjoy some things such as taking a bath together or hearing their baby talk only when children are small, because eventually they grow to be their own person and they want intimacy. I feel sorry for your future children. Also did you read the story at all? The ml and mc are out all day and their baby stays with the nanny and only see her at night but at night she sleeps
