Even if not blood-related brothers, even stepbrothers is unsettling (I dont know why authors think this is okay). The author could’ve easily made the story out to be a family-friend they have a strong bond with or something. Everyone got done dirty in the story; the mom, dad, the uke and also the sunbae? I would be tweaking if I were him.
Not even mentioning the poor uke: his entire life he got bullied/ casted out. Even outside of the whole hypnosis thing he had already taken alot of mental hits. In the end the seme made the situation come out in such a way he didnt have anyone to lean on/chose. Seme also took away the sunbae he could’ve worked it out with if not for him and fucking up the entire thing. So no, the ending wasn’t ‘fit’, the uke has just been through to much emotional trauma and manipulation with no real chose left jn the end.
