I still in the earlier chapters, almost halfway through, but I like how things are unfolding. Usually with this genre that Father always has some sort of sudden epiphany, but this wasn't the cause, he started noticing the FL, and made plans for her to be treated well, and accepted her as his daughter which was different from their past life, but he was still obsessed with his dead wife and still went out looking for something to revive her.

What I liked was that the FL understood that her father missed and looked for her mom for 5 years desperately and when he did find her, she aas dead, so she understood how painful it is for him, the father wept every night in his room beside his wife body, so you see much he loved her.

What I loved is that through the FL acting and her allowing him to still go out and look for something to revive his wife, even though she knows they are "charlatans" ... she still let him go, and didn't held him back and he started also doing more (bare minimum)... but, this is what how it's even more different, he didnt suddenly change but it was gradually almost like the stages of grief, and then finally when something almost happens to the FL he fealise and also through the acting of her trusted maid (who put him in his place despite him being her boss) he found out he isn't the absolute worse father... yup, he gradually came to that understanding and that he didn't just lose a wife but his daughter lost her mother and if he don't stop being nuts he could also lose his daughter as well, this is also very different from the usual trope I read.

Something I really loved as well was when the father decided to hold a funeral for the mom and told the FL, she was also so understanding about him, and said that he didn't have to do it right away, but they decided to let him grief over her until he is finally able to let go, so they decide to leave her in a special garden and visit her, taking to her etc.

Usually these tropes come to the fast and sudden change in the father's but I liked how this was done, the father was absolute trash in the past and even when her regression started, but things started gradually changes and he came to the realization, it wasn't some magic of the FL being cute alone, but it was like his reality was hit with logic... he has a lot to do to make up to the FL, but I hope its the same.fkr his other two older kids who he left for 5 whole years..
