He is literally at risk of his physical well being and being kicked on the street, but I also he's using someone as a prostitute and putting them in an illegal and harmful situation, and said he'd leave them high and dry at the drop of a hat when he gets what he wants, then expected them to not try to romantically pursue someone else.
That being said, I'm liking that this new side story's arc is continuing to explore the topic of gender dysphoria, and not just dropping everything to do a happy go lucky story, when nothing was really settled except that they both used their words and finally told each other that they think they like the other.
