The ML said he went through hell and the only thing keeping him sane was being back with Tei. Because they did meet when he was a child obviously there would be no romantic feelings coming from Tei. To me it only makes sense to advance the plot is for the ML to be a little crazy and a little pushy to kind of force Tei into that kind of position. Im not saying he's going to push himself on him or assault or anything, just the situation itself. With how ML reacted to Teis rejection is making me think he did become a little crazy but who can blame him when im sure the hell he mentioned was probably awful.
