I know it looks like who Athy ends up w/ is up for discussion but for me it’s obvious that Athy picked & ends up w/ Lucas. Their bond in the main story is very playful & full of banter, it felt like she was able to be herself around him. And the same would go for Lucas, he was a bored wizard who didn’t really have any goals or anything to look forward to so he just spent his time sleeping, he was able to grow bc of Athy. And although they may not have confessed to each other I think they both know they have feelings for each other. Plus they’ve kissed many times in the side stories & even a small peck on the cheek in the main story! <3
