Siwoo's desperate really. Acting reckless and doing things without consent doesn't feel like him but at the same time we as readers haven't seen the real Siwoo, who seems to be a confused teenage who kept his feelings a secret for too long and he wants to escape because who knows why... it's not Byul's fault that Siwoo can't control his emotions and actions of course. Byul is just learning about how it feels to truly like someone. He's learning in baby steps and then Siwoo does things like this, rushing into something he can't force or control. Of course Byul's gonna reject him. He's scared and confused too but like you said, Byul chased after him and if Siwoo had enough patience, he could have hear something positive for both of them but he rushed and caused a big problem and misunderstanding.
And yeah, the girl now knows. She can't be THAT blind right?
I think it's hinted as to why Siwoo never took action with Byul. He, essentially feels like he could never stand with Byul or will ever be good enough for him. I think Fargo has done a good job at conveying how they're basically polar opposites, starting from Byul's name itself which carries a lot of meaning. He was meant to 'shine" while Siwoo's name is just a regular ordinary name. It goes down to their background (rich and poor), family situation, as well with the added strain of them being both alphas which defies the omegaverse natural rule of law. Aka they with the same second gender shouldn't even be together. It's why Siwoo asked Byul if he was okay after their kiss as they were both alphas. Anyways, can't wait for the next chapter!
Also I wouldn't place real life into the stories so much. Especially in a BL omegaverse story lol. Otherwise you're going to find yourself frustrated such as with the lack of 'consent' which Fargo probably didn't even think about. If you've read her other works, she has her style she likes and alot of which she writes wouldn't fly in real-life lol. It's why I focus more so on what the author is trying to convey rather than put my own biases in there and input what i think the character should've done or the story should've been this way.
Yeah there's a lot unsaid and we can speculate about his reasons so I hope next chapter are flashbacks about them growing together then separating and also more about Siwoo's family situation.
Him wanting to be a truck driver only because that'a job he can do in any place and not aspiring to be something else or applying himself in his education. His lack of self esteem is heartbreaking.
Yes, Fargo has done a good job showing that Siwoo has low confidence lol. It's definitely going to be one of the main factors for him to work on to be able to be with Byul.

Siwoo's feelings for Byul is so intense, to the point it hurts him and he just wants to get away. ╥﹏╥
On the other hand I understand Byul, as everything kinda hit him at all at once. Him and his mom just made up for the time being, then Siwoo kissed him out of nowhere and he had yet to sort out his feelings. Then Siwoo hits him with another whammy aka confession and kiss with tongue, so can't blame Byul for being super out of sorts and frozen on the spot.
Anyways I hope they make up soon.
BTW I think the ex girlfriend just realized who Byul really likes. She witnessed Byul for the first time, desperately chase after someone, showing real emotions. Nothing like the detachment and indifference she always got with him.
