I'm only on chap 40 rn but I seriously can't stand the ml I'm sorry.. hes ruining the story for me. mc's ex i dont fw him but I can see why he made such choices and they make sense, the mc's ex's bf he's pmo but i can see why hes made such choices and I can see why hes desprate, so neither kf them ruin the story instead they make it mkre intrestinf and hesrt tugging. but the ml?? I swear the author wanted to go for the type of ml thats cold and stern but in a way that helps the mc recover but its just converying the opposite..mc he JUST got out of a 5 year coma, mind you his most recent memories is one in war and hes still in recovery and the ml is treating him like that?? I'm not saying hes some delicate cookie but surley there has to be a line and hes been crossing it over and over. What happened to bejng understanding? Sympathy? Kindness? NOT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONE WHO CLEARLY ISNT IN THE RIGHT EMOTIONAL STATE?? I hate to say it but the mls ex wife is completely valid in her reaction and I sincerely wish him nothing but unhappiness in his relationships as well and I hope months later they break up cause the mc couldn't stand him ass no more and he realizes he only got w him cause he was desperate for a love left by his ex.. and this isnt to say the mc is complete saint but he has his reasons, hes literally on medication so his brain doesnt bleed out and die, his emotional state is a mess making him more timid, his mental state seems to be doing better but thats just as fragile as the mls ego, and the ml either knows all this yet treats him the same way or is either ignorant as fuck.
