After rereading

I liked this manhwa and I loved this couple. But after rereading I have realized that I have buried the disturbing scenes to tolerate Caesar. I feel Lee Won so much because he's been doing it since day one.

It's a mafia story, so it's expected to have disturbing scenes, not because it's 'yaoi' or 'BL' but because the premise is expected to be a problematic one.

Season 1 was cute, but it also cemented from the start, Caesar was never normal. It's heartbreaking that their first penetrative sex was a rape. Yiwon never deserved such treatment but what's interesting is despite that he still loved Caesar and he's aware how problematic it is. Yiwon fell for him with the emphasis of how twisted the man he fell for is. But rape is inexcusable still.

I like Caesar's character because he stayed unhinged 'til the end it's quite a realistic character arc because not even love can make you unlearn or learn things so suddenly given how he was raised. That's why I find the ending beautiful and quite poetic in a way that shows how someone can learn about themselves with the help of love and how love can be unconditionally given.(But his two rapes is unforgivable and I hate that I like him still, but now I like him less because of it)

Yiwon is that diva, might be a bit of a pushover but he's the only one for Caesar. This story is only enjoyable with such premise because of this diva. On that note, loving Caesar is exhausting but this diva does it woth grace pair with stress lol.
