This is so peak but I hated it. I felt so much stress reading this. Even though it’s a good & happy ending, something about this entire (very well constructed) plot makes me feel so empty and restless in the end. This story made me laughed and cried numerous times. The plot twists just kept on twisting and every end of the chapter made me want to find out more. But I think I won’t ever pick this up for a reread ever.
SPOILERS: I think it has something to do with Yeon. His entire situation from his POV feels so unresolved. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t see this non-closure decision as a flaw in the story per se. But it just makes me so upset. And the whole situation with the two souls and the shared appearance as a result made me feel restless thinking about it.
Anyways, it’s not everyday you get to read stories like these. In a world full of classic alpha ceo + workplace yaoi or bl gangster smut, this story was truly a gem. I loved and hated every bit of it.
