I really like it I do but

I thought this story was so cute from the beginning to the confession to them getting together because it felt like a low-stakes romance story with minimal drama.

And it is that.
It’s soo good like genuinely it was so cute up until a certain point.

I get that it’s his (bottom) first relationship and he’s trying not to fuck things up - but he contradicts himself SO MUCH. he says one thing to his friends, then gets upset when the top plays along, then tries to mentally ground himself only to once again put his own foot in his mouth.
His shyness and overthinking is part of his charm, but I couldn’t help and tense slightly when he’d actively slip up.

I know that it stemmed from a place of insecurity and uncertainty of their relationship - like the bouncing back and forth before dating I could get behind a little more, but after dating and some of the shit he said?
I just got frustrated ESPECIALLY becuz he doesn’t understand that some of the shit he said to him was lowkey evil.
He doesn’t say it maliciously no, but it still like WHOA

wdym I look better with another girl? What do you mean I’m just your friend? What do you mean It’d be better if you had your first with others? What do you mean you regret dating me?

And you wanna know what? They don’t talk bout it properly. THATS what gets to me - the top just fuckinf hangs up to not get mad or sad and the bottom starts apologizing without realizing why what he said was whack. Like this relationship is not going to last if you don’t put yourself in the mentality that YOU want to make it last - not already setting yourself up for failure and disappointment. And knowing that HE only wants you too.

Aside from that they’re really cute. Like super fuckinf cute like in the insufferable couple type way. Stop thinking the worst and start thinking the opposite becuz that man likes you so much and you like him so much.
