It's even from the earlier chapters. I noticed this too. There's barely any depth to Han Juwon character as manhwa chapters progress which makes me hate how the manhwa is written. It's unfortunate because I started reading the novel after reading the earlier chapters. I love it so much in the novel the way Lee Seodan progressively sees him and even at one point able to feel so secure with him, something that he never had in his life. Unfortunately the manhwa readers will never understand Han Juwon the way novel readers and Lee Seodan have.
I literally cried at the end of the novel because it was such a ride to see how Han Juwon and Lee Seodan grows in the relationship. People think this is like black and white relationship with BDSM, when it really is not.
Ahh omg your reply makes me so happy! Because you GET IT. Mr. Han is truly awful for a big part of the story, which is what makes his slow and subtle changes so beautiful. The way he utterly adores Seodan and changes his sex habits for Seodan is beautiful. The way he always smiles and is gentle with Seodan. That's what makes his growth so good. He becomes Seodan's safe place, his confidence and happiness that Seodan never felt before. It's completely lost in the manhwa and I understand why the comments are flooded with hating him. But it's so upsetting to see because he's not supposed to be like this in these later chapters. Ironically, season 1 portrayed more depth for both of them?

I'm just gonna drop this here. I've read the novel countless times and am following the raws. And it's clear the author really likes writing the intense sex scenes but not the emotional depth between them. The majority of Mr. Han's tender moments are constantly removed lately, so it looks like he hasn't changed at all. So much of Seodan's dialogue & thoughts are just gone so you have no idea how he feels. Next chapter a very important and vulnerable moment is not included and I can already hear the complaints about Mr. Han when it's supposed to be a catalyst chapter for him. Manhwa readers only, you've been robbed
