I’ve re-read this story multiple times (but back when there were no side chapters) and I honestly liked that more, it genuinely is one of my comfort reads with one of the only miscommunication stories I like. But this time reading it with the new side chapters, it’s kind of ruining the story.
Aside from the very offputting artstyle the author also really changed Yeonduk’s personality? The Yeonduk up until this point is a very kind, caring and considerate person. All of a sudden in the side chapters he seems to be this very cold and inconsiderate person to Skylar. The story was so good at building the characters, all to erase it with making them lose all their personalities in the sides is really weird to me. Sometimes knowing when to end a story (in this case with no sides), is far better then ruining it with this type of crap.
