I wouldn't be too sure about that. Anyone would be angry with the other party if they disappeared for a few years, especially if there was more going on between them than just friendship. Plus, Xixi doesn't know why Jian Yi really left, so he has every right to be angry at him. What I'm saying is... there's still hope! :D
I know that there won't be a very big development yet knowing how the story in present time is with them meeting again after a few years w/ no development, so I don't want to get my hopes up too high with XiXi and Jian Yi quite yet
